According to a posting on the KISS fan site KissAsylum.com, late KISS drummer Eric Carr's chrome Chikara drum set is available for purchase at KissMuseum.net. The kit was used primarily during KISS' 1988 "Crazy Nights" tour and was played at the majority of the shows. KissMuseum.net has 18 pieces of the drum set for sale, if you would like to have a chance to own a piece of KISStory.
Eric Carr (real name Paul Charles Caravello) was selected as the new KISS drummer after Peter Criss left the band in 1980. He remained a band member until he became ill with heart cancer and died on November 24, 1991.
According to the Yorkshire Post, a murder investigation was launched today after a man died following an altercation at the O2 Academy concert venue in Leeds, England during a concert by MOTÖRHEAD.
Police said 44 year-old Andrew Crawford, who was manager of a builder's merchant, had been struck on the head several times in the center of Leeds. Two other men, now being hunted by police, were seen running off into nearby Cookridge Street.
Police believe the incident is connected to an earlier altercation during the MOTÖRHEAD concert, in which a friend of Crawford had his hair set alight by someone standing nearby.

Swedish all-girl hard rock band CRUCIFIED BARBARA, which is currently writing material for its third full-length album, will play a one-off show on December 2 at Café Opera in Stockholm, Sweden. Support at the gig will come from THE SCAMS.
CRUCIFIED BARBARA's second full-length album, "Til Death Do Us Party", was released in February 2009. The CD was produced by Mats Levén (THERION, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, KRUX, TREAT, AT VANCE, ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA) and features guest appearances by guitarist Phil Campbell (MOTÖRHEAD) and Mats Levén.
U.K. thrash metal veterans ONSLAUGHT will release a double single, "The Sound of Violence" / "Bomber", on December 17 through AFM Records. The single will include one track from the band's forthcoming fifth album, "Sounds Of Violence", backed with a cover version of the MOTÖRHEAD classic "Bomber".
A sample of the "Bomber" cover — featuring guest appearances by MOTÖRHEAD's Phil Campbell and SODOM's Tom Angelripper — can be streamed at this location.
Commented ONSLAUGHT guitarist Nige Rockett: "We're really stoked to finally be getting some new material out in the public domain. It's been such a long time since the 'Killing Peace' album and this will be a great little sampler for the upcoming album release in early 2011.
"'The Sound Of Violence' track is a cool representation of things to come. It's got a real old-school ONSLAUGHT feel but its very contemporary at the same time... a real angry, no-nonsense thrasher.
"Regarding the 'Bomber' cover: MOTÖRHEAD have always been a huge influence on ONSLAUGHT and our relationship goes back a long long way. So when we decided to have some fun and do a cover song in the studio, this track immediately sprang to mind, especially as it's relative to the theme of the new album. We've given it a pretty aggressive ONSLAUGHT slant and thrashed it up little, but still very much retaining the original identity of the song.
"To make things a little more interesting, we thought we would like to add some very special guests into the mix.... We asked Phil [Campbell; MOTÖRHEAD guitarist] if he would like to come and thrash out with us and play some guitar on the track. The answer was an undoubted 'Yes'...
"Things were sounding pretty cool in rehearsal but just missing that tiny piece of magic / the icing on the cake... Then Phil came in and played that awesome riff in his style and everything just fell right into place... We also had the idea that our friend Tom Angelripper (SODOM) would sound perfect sharing the vocal duties with our own Mr. Keeler.
"We knew Tom was in the studio recording the new SODOM record so the timing was perfect... We sent over the tracks and Tom did the rest. He laid down some great fucking vocals, as you will hear, and it's really added something special to the final result.
"As you can tell, really, I'm buzzing about all this... It's an exciting time to be in ONSLAUGHT right now."
"Sounds Of Violence" will be released on the following dates:
Japan: January 12
Europe: January 28
USA: February 8
The effort will be made available in three formats: CD, limited digipack and vinyl.
The follow-up to 2007's "Killing Peace", "Sounds Of Violence" was recorded and mixed at Hansen Studio in Ribe, Denmark with acclaimed Danish producer Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, MERCENARY, VOLBEAT, HEAVEN SHALL BURN).
Regarding the direction of ONSLAUGHT's new material, Nige Rockett previously said, "Musically and lyrically, this is definately the most brutal and intense ONSLAUGHT album to date. It's full of machine-gun riffs, ferocious drum patterns and some pretty fucked up lyrical content.
"This album was never meant to be pretty. It's not a concept album by any measure but there's a definite theme to the whole package, right through from the sleeve design to the music and onto the words; it's violence all the way.
"There's a lot of hate in 'Sounds of Violence' and a whole lot of reality in there, too, much of it straight from the heart."
ONSLAUGHT recently signed a deal with Enorm Music, the publishing arm of ICS, which organizes the Wacken Open Air festival.
The band recorded its performance at the Damnation Festival on November 22, 2008 in Leeds, U.K. for a live CD, "Live Damnation", which was released on July 20, 2009 through Candlelight Records.
An e-card for the album can be accessed at this location.
ONSLAUGHT's last studio album, "Killing Peace", was released in March 2007 via Candlelight Records. The CD was recorded at Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE).
MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson is featured on the cover of the December 2010 issue of Bass Player magazine. The holiday issue is on sale now.
MEGADETH will headline six festival shows in New Zealand and Australia during December 10-19 as part of "No Sleep Til", a touring festival that will deliver a mix of the best international and local acts from the legendary to the up-and-comers.
MEGADETH's "Rust In Peace Live" CD — which captures the final night of the band's historic month-long "Rust In Peace" 20th anniversary tour — has sold around 12,000 copies in the United States since its September release.
SLAYER guitarist Kerry King joined MEGADETH on stage on October 21 at the Gibson Amphitheater to perform MEGADETH's classic "Rattlehead". This marked the first time in 26 years that Kerry played the song with MEGADETH (King took part in MEGADETH's very first shows in February 1984 as the band's second guitarist).
Sunset Strip legends LONDON, who helped launch the careers of such musicians as MÖTLEY CRÜE's Nikki Sixx, GUNS N' ROSES' Slash and W.A.S.P.'s Blackie Lawless, are currenty working on material for their first studio release since 1990's "Playa Del Rock". LONDON vocalist Nadir D'Priest tells Sleaze Roxx, "At this time we are working on new material to put together a new LONDON album. This is the original lineup from 1989 — we have Brian West on bass, Sean Lewis on guitar and Krigger on drums. It has been over 20 years since we have had this lineup together, which are the original players on the album 'Playa Del Rock'. I am really looking forward to new tunes, a new album, and also a new music video. The band sounds louder and better than ever. It's great having Brian West and Krigger back on the LONDON ship. We are now ready for take off!"
He continued, "The voice is still there and we are going to put together a new album — looking at 2011. It would be great to have a tune from Nikki Sixx and Blackie Lawless with me on vocals, and maybe the others who came through LONDON. What do you think? It would be killer. I don't think that would happen, though; way too big for little old LONDON."

According to Billboard.com, METALLICA sold 74,244 tickets over four dates at Sydney, Australia's Acer Arena in September and November, breaking the previous record of 66,247 set by BRITNEY SPEARS over four nights on her "Circus" tour in November 2009.
"It was a massive, awesome performance," Paul Sergeant, GM of Acer Arena, told Bilboard.com. "Even if you weren't a METALLICA follower, you'd have enjoyed that show. It was huge."
METALLICA's 20-date tour, its first "Down Under" in six years, began on September 15 in Melbourne, Australia and ended on November 21 in the same city.
"It's a fantastic tribute to METALLICA, as they approach 25 years since their first Australian tour, that they enjoy such an incredible level of support," Michael Coppel, promoter for the Australasian leg of the group's "World Magnetic" tour, told Billboard.com. "They are one of the greatest live bands ever, and I'm sure everyone who has seen them on this tour will attest to that."
METALLICA has just released a second live EP, titled "Six Feet Under, Part II", as a follow-up to the eight-song EP it issued just prior to the band's current tour of Australia and New Zealand. But unlike that disc, which contained recordings of METALLICA gigs in both countries from earlier years, the new EP features songs recorded live in September and October at shows on the current trek.
"Six Feet Under, Part II" entered the ARIA album chart at positon No. 13.

Wendy Dio, the wife/manager of legendary heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio, has told VH1 Radio that she encourages the surviving members of HEAVEN & HELL — Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice — to work together again under a different moniker.
"I don't know what they're doing right now," she said. "I know that Geezer's been asked several times, and he's just ... he took it very hard. I don't really know what they're doing right now. They should do something else, with Vinny, too. I mean, the band was amazing, an amazing band and they should carry on to do something. It won't be called HEAVEN & HELL but whatever they call it, it will be great, it will be amazing."

01. The Mob Rules (Jorn Lande)
02. I (Jorn Lande)
03. Country Girl (Glenn Hughes)
