Southern California's heavy metal juggernaut, BLACKBREW, is releasing their new single "War" on Friday, October 7, 2011. War is the highly anticipated followup to their 2010 debut, "BLACKBREW". War is the first single off of BLACKBREW's sophmore effort, "WAR". BLACKBREW has hired legendary heavy metal producer, BILL METOYER, (SLAYER, FATES WARNING, C.O.C., FLOTSAM AND JETSAM and W.A.S.P.) to record, mix, master and produce their second album.

BLACKBREW's new single, "War", will be available for digital download on October 7, 2011, by all major internet distributors. BLACKBREW's second album, "WAR", is currently scheduled for a 2012 release.

The cover art for "WAR" was created by TONI JUSTAMANTE, an RPG series artist who has worked on the video games Warhammer 10k - Deathwatch and Haven; and also worked on the LOTR Trading Card games.

BLACKBREW is influenced by bands such as BLACK SABBATH, ALICE IN CHAINS, PANTERA and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. The band consists of vocal powerhouse KURT LOUN; the double guitar threat of ROCCO CRETACCI and DARYL HERNANDEZ; and the rock solid rhythm section of JOHN GUY on bass and MICHAEL IKONA on the drums. ALL ACCESS MAGAZINE's editor/writer, ROB SWICK, best describes BLACKBREW's music as "Molten Audio Stew"!
